We offer a variety of kids dance classes for children between the ages of 18 months and 15 years. We offer traditional courses in ballet and tap, as well as modern programs in musical theater, creative movement and hip-hop and jazz. We go out of our way to make sure students have fun, and we do everything we can to remove the anxiety and pressure so often found in other studios.
Parents often sign their toddlers up for our beginning level “Tots and Tutus” course. This interactive class is great for students who are about to enter preschool or kindergarten. We teach movement basics and use costumes to bring young ones out of their shells and into the world of social interaction.
If your child is showing a propensity for the limelight, you might want to sign her up for our “Guys and Dolls” course. This dance program, designed for children between the ages of three and a half and five years old, uses songs and choreographed movements to get kids in the mood for creativity. We use plenty of Broadway inspired costumes to teach students scenes from popular shows. This builds confidence, boost creativity, enhances coordination and hones basic motor skills.
Our Lyrical and Creative Jazz course is designed for kids five years and older. This well-rounded class includes jazz, funk and modern dance moves, giving children a great workout and sparking the imagination to explore different forms of expression. This course also allows children to take initiative and actually choreograph their own scenes.
