Some dance studios for kids seem to have forgotten what it means to be a child. They put pressure on children to perform and compete, and they leave no room for imperfections or plain old silly behavior. We set out to develop a different approach to movement that children actually enjoy participating in.
We offer all the lessons and instruction you’d get from a traditional dance studio, but we also offer a place for children to explore their creativity. Children who come to us develop self confidence and many of them go on to explore creative fields. Our program is designed to help kids develop self-esteem without having to measure or rank themselves against other students.
In our dance studio we provide classes for kids as young as 18 months old. These courses focus on coordination and developing motor skills. We keep young ones interested by incorporating weekly themes into our lesson plans. Our weekly themes include costumes and props that stimulate the mind and activate creative centers in the brain.
In our program, children explore their natural talents and discover their heartfelt interests in a low-pressure setting. This is especially important for self-confidence during the early stages of development. Children who are encouraged to experiment, are more willing to take healthy risks as they get older and they begin to interact with their peers.
